Key Lockbox
The lockbox is located at the base of the windshield on the Driver's side. Open the cover to access the number pad. Enter the code texted to you and open the box to retrieve the golf cart key card and underglow lights fob.
To remove the box from the windshield, pinch the two arrows together and pull the shackle from the box. Once removed, reinsert the shackle into the box. You may now store the lockbox in the storage area beneath the back seat.
Starting the Golf Cart
To start the cart, touch the fob (credit card) to the right side of the steering column where a round area is up toward the steering wheel. You will NOT use the start/stop button on the dash to start it. You will use the start/stop button to turn it off. Hold the button for 2 seconds to turn it off. Please turn it off every time you park & walk away from the cart. Leaving it on could mean someone can jump in & leave with it as the cart will not try to detect the key.
Turning the Golf Cart Off
To turn the cart off, turn the gear shift into the Neutral position and simply hold the Start/Stop button for 2 seconds and you will hear a fading beep sound. The screen will turn black to confirm the cart has been turned off. Please do not forget to turn the headlights and/or underglow lights off to conserve the battery.
Shifting into Reverse or Drive
To shift from one gear to another, press the brake and turn the gear shift knob to the desired direction.
When changing from Reverse to Drive or Drive to Reverse, press the brake and shift to Neutral then to the desired direction. Please do not turn the knob quickly as the cart may not recognize that it passed by Neutral.
If you change to a direction (R or D) and the cart does not move when pressing the gas pedal, press the brake then move the gear shift into Neutral. While continuing to press the brake, change to your desired direction.
You will NOT need to use the E setting (Economy).
Charging the Golf Cart
The cart will go 25-35 miles on a charge. Please plug it up when it gets down to 30% or lower. Always plug it in at night to fully recharge. We may have already plugged the charging cord up at the house and stretched it to the cart for you depending on the location of the outlet and where we were able to park the cart.
The charging port is on the drivers side below the middle seat.
Underglow Lights
The small remote with the golf cart fob (silver with 4 buttons) is to control the under-glow lights. They are pretty cool once it gets dark. It has over 50 different settings (mode, speed & color).
Checkout Day
A few easy steps before you say goodbye to Anna Maria Island
Please charge the golf cart the evening before so it is fully charged for our next guest.
Remove the Lockbox from the back storage area, open the box, remove the shackle by pinching the two arrows together. Place the shackle around the base of the windshield and insert it back into the box. Place the key card and underglow light fob in the lockbox and close it. Give the numbers a twirl to lock the box.
